4 years after the racist attack in Hanau: Say Their Names!
On February 19, 2020, we made a promise: to never forget the names of the victims. Every year, every month, we speak 9 names, honoring all victims of right-wing, racist, and antisemitic violence. February 19th commemorates the fourth anniversary of the terrorist attack in Hanau. To this day, the families of the victims await accountability and a thorough investigation into the attack that claimed the lives of these nine individuals. Meanwhile, numerous organizations and alliances continue their efforts to honor their memory and advance important political initiatives. Consider joining one of the many memorials and demonstrations all over Germany.
4 Jahre nach dem rassistischen Angriff in Hanau: Say their names!
Am 19. Februar 2020 haben wir uns alle ein Versprechen gegeben: die Namen der Opfer niemals zu vergessen. Jedes Jahr, jeden Monat, sprechen wir die Namen der neun Opfer laut aus und ehren damit alle Opfer rechter, rassistischer und antisemitischer Gewalt. Der 19. Februar markiert den vierten Jahrestag des terroristischen Angriffs in Hanau. Bis heute warten die Familien der Opfer auf Verantwortlichkeit und eine gründliche Untersuchung des Angriffs, der das Leben dieser neun Menschen forderte. Inzwischen setzen zahlreiche Organisationen und Bündnisse ihre Bemühungen fort, ihr Andenken zu ehren und wichtige politische Initiativen voranzutreiben. Engagiert euch und geht zu den zahlreichen Gedenkveranstaltungen, die deutschlandweit stattfinden.
